Fan Making Workshops and Live Street Art in Greenwich Market, in conjunction with Street Fans at The Fan Museum, Greenwich

Fan Making Workshops – free 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm daily
Learn how to make a Fontage shape fan, typical of the early 20th century, under the expert guidance of The Fan Museum tutor and discover the history and craft of fans.
Participants will also receive free weekend pass to The Fan Museum.
Sticks and equipment will be provided, but please do bring your choice of paper with you. Gift wrap is suitable but better if not shiny or folded. Classes last one hour and are suitable for ages 12 to 90.

Street Fans at The Fan Museum
This exhibition unites two seemingly disparate spheres of artistry: fan making and street art.
Jointly conceived by The Fan Museum and Paris-based street artist Codex Urbanus, Street Fans features an international cast of 30 artists including RUN, C215, Nathan Bowen, Himbad, Otto Schade and Dale Grimshaw. Teaming up with leading contemporary fan maker, Sylvain Le Guen, to design and create one-of-a-kind folding fans.
Exhibition runs 19 September - 31 December 2017.
